Meet Emily Sigrist, queer-identified host of the Queer and Now Podcast. She talks about growing up in Ohio and about the social conservatism that living in the Midwest includes. She moved to New York to study acting and then to Seattle, Washington where she lives now.
In the “B” Segment we play a campy little Buzzfeed type of game we call “Shit Straight People Say: Lesbian Edition” where we take a lighthearted look at some of the dumb things gay people hear all the time. This is a good primer if you’re worried you might say something offensive, but by no means exhaustive.
